I Slept With My Married Rent-a-Car Boss to Keep the Job as a Broke Undergrad — He Fired & Unpaid Me Anyway aitah
A few years ago when I was still an undergraduate I joined a small rent-a-car business (husband and wife running it) as a part-time employee. It was a toxic place — no one lasted more than 3 months. I was working even below minimum wage and pushing hard because I needed the job.
After a few months the boss gave me an “option”: become his secret lover if I wanted to stay and get paid. I agreed because I felt I had no choice at the time. Whenever his wife wasn’t around he’d call me into the office. I was uncomfortable the whole time but went along with it. Some days I had uni so I wouldn’t go in. His wife eventually got suspicious.
Then one day I got blocked on every number and was completely ghosted — fired without any notice or final pay. While it was happening he gave me some money and I took it.
Now I’m doing much better, working at a proper corporate job, but the anger keeps coming back. I really want to see them suffer for what they did to me.
To people who actually took revenge on bosses who sexually exploited them or screwed them over like this — how did you do it without ruining your own life? Was it worth it? Or is the best move to just report them officially and move on?
Am I the a\*shole for still wanting them to pay for this years later?
I don’t have any proof and I don’t want to get involved in any legal stuff.
