Mac Mini M2 with 8GB RAM or M1 with 16?
Greetings everyone, I am currently looking to switch to the Apple desktop ecosystem, buuut I have ran into a bit of a pickle.
Today I saw a listing on my local FB Marketplace for a Mac Mini M2 8/256 model for 350€, which, at least in my view, is a decent price for a barely used M2 Mini.
However, as I was scrolling further, I also saw a M1 Mini in a 16/256 specification going for 330€, and I have difficulty trying to find out which one would be the best for me, as I am a photographer/soft video editor and I don’t want to deal with software issues later down in the road.
I used to have a pretty chunky Windows desktop running on Intel i3-13100F/RX6650XT with 32gb of RAM (and I know this is a hefty downgrade from that), but which of these two would be the best option in your guys’ perspective?
(Also before you all suggest me to get an M4 Mini, it’s impossible for me because of budget constraints, need for a computer asap and inability to spend 799-949€ here in 🇱🇻 for a new one)
