GR IV internal storage + SD card redundancy
I'm new to photography, and have never really used SD cards before. I got one to speed up transferring images off the camera (the GR world app makes me sad when transferring a lot of images) and with the assumption that I'd mostly use it for storage redundancy.
I imagined there'd be a setting that allows me to save images to both the internal SSD and internal memory simultaneously, but it seems like I have to choose either one or the other. Do any cameras let users do this, or is this not really standard?
It seems like one feature that might basically do the same thing is "Image Copy" which lets us transfer photos from the SD card to internal memory and vice-versa. The only problem with this is that it seems like if you select all images to move, it will copy all the images in memory, regardless of whether or not they've been copied before. I guess if I wanted to copy periodically throughout the day, then I'd either need to be okay with the duplicates or select the images to copy one by one each time.
Do any of you worry about your storage reliability at all when you're taking pictures? I'm obviously not doing any professional work with this camera, but it'd be a bummer to lose some of the pics that I take
