New Wholesaler Here — Are Courses & Mentorships Actually Worth It?
I’m still pretty new to wholesaling real estate and trying to learn the business the right way. I can find leads and talk to sellers, but I struggle when it comes to actually closing deals.
I’m realizing there’s a big difference between getting contracts and truly understanding acquisitions, dispositions, negotiations, pricing, and building a strong buyers list.
Now I’m trying to figure out if buying courses or mentorships from real estate gurus is actually worth it, or if most of it can be learned for free through experience and online content.
I don’t mind investing money if it genuinely helps me close deals faster and avoid mistakes, but I also don’t want to waste money on hype or recycled information.
For people already doing deals consistently:
Did a course or mentor really help you?
What improved your closing skills the most?
If you started over, what would you focus on first?
Would appreciate honest advice from experienced wholesalers.
