My Kumquat tree hasn't given us much fruit this past year. A few weeks ago I noticed these large round bulbs growing all over the tree. They're much bigger than a traditional kumquat, I cut it open and I have no idea what this is but it's definitely not a kumquat. Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas on what is growing? . . . There is a lime tree about 5-6ft away. The lime tree has never produced any fruit, it's about 5 years old.
