Are people just apathetic now?

I was driving down the C St and saw some guy screaming obscenities and throwing his coat down in the middle of the intersection. Since that’s a normal day in Anchorage, everyone just ignored it. But then he made eye contact with a woman trying to cross the street. He then threw his arms up in the air at her and started following her aggressively in the opposite direction he was originally walking. People all around and no one does anything.

I was driving in the far left lane and couldn’t get over to the right side. I had to go all the way around the block and couldn’t find them. Hopefully the lady got somewhere safe.

If I was a woman who had to walk through downtown, I’d be holding a can of bear spray and have a gun accessible.
