Hi! Husband and I + small dog will be moving to Phoenix and are looking for appts. We've had our eye on Liv Ahwatukee. We like the amenities, specially the decent sized dog area, planned social activities and closeness to outdoor activities. BUT just realized zip code falls under the hot scorpion area. Dont mind them outdoors but dont want them in my apartment. Is this justified?

Appt recommendations are also appreciated. Budget is $2,400. Will be working near the diablo stadium and would like to keep commute under 30 min. Either 2b 2b or 3b 2b with at least 1,250 sqft.
