Currently I’m employed in Canada, I need to give 30 day notice as per signed contract.
I’m also starting a new job in US under TN on July 6, I cannot apply for TN until June 26th.
I have 2 options:

1. Give notice to current employer today, apply for TN and start new job.
2. Wait until TN is approved and then ask new employer to move the start date by ~ 2 weeks & give a notice to current employer right away (I can move shifts around to make is 2 weeks rather than 3), this way I can still have a job in case anything goes wrong.

I’ve had TN approved for a job without issues in the past.

Which is a better option
