I’m planning to buy a Haier AC. The cash price is 136,000 PKR, but if I go for a 10-month installment plan, the fixed total becomes 139,000 PKR.

So basically, I’d be paying an extra 3,000 PKR for paying over time.

My question is: does this count as interest (riba) in Islam, or is it permissible since the total price is fixed upfront and not increasing over time?

Would really appreciate input from anyone knowledgeable in Islamic finance or who has dealt with similar situations.
