So a couple weeks ago I posted here because I had received extremely bad analysis results. To sum up, I had:

- concentration: 0.26 M/ml
- normal morphology: 0%
- mobile progressive: 0%
- mobile non-progressive: 4%
- immobile: 96%

A couple days later I saw an urologists, he confirmed I had varicocele and suggested a repeated analysis and a hormone analysis.

Next day, I woke up early and did my morning run, my wife was gonna do a pregnancy test because it was the proper day of the period but, with those results, we had absolutely no hope. That’s why I wasn’t at home with her for the test as I had been for all previous ones.

I returned home to my wife’s shocked face and a positive test! We have repeated the test six times in the following days, line comes up stronger every day. We were convinced we had received a miracle. I just couldn’t be happier.

Today I did my repeated analysis in a different, better lab, and I have just received the results. Only 2 weeks later, the results are now:

- concentration: 26 M/ml (a x100 increase!!!)
- normal morphology: 2%
- mobile progressive: 4%
- mobile non-progressive: 12%
- immobile: 85%

Now I know in terms of morphology and motility the results are still low but I think the varicocele, which I still plan on getting fixed, will improve those. However these numbers are much more compatible with natural pregnancy!

I am so happy but kind of mad at the first lab, that 100 increase from 0.26 to 26 in concentration looks a little too much like a human mistake for my taste.

Anyways, I received amazing advise and counsel from this community, you guys are amazing and because of that you were the people I wanted to know the news as soon as possible!

My wife (30F) and I (30M) have been trying to conceive for 3 months. I know, a very short time, but we are impatient and decided to rule out any fertility problems. She is perfectly fertile. I did an spermogram today and the results are so catastrophically bad that I am sort of hoping there is a blatant mistake in the analysis.

We are from Spain so the results are in Spanish, I will try to translate:

I eat healthy, I am a bit overweight (90kg) but I am working on it. I’ve been running since last summer when I couldn’t run 2min before stopping and now I can do 5km in less than 30min. I don’t smoke nor vape (I quit 2 years ago), I drink maybe 2 beers per week if not less.

I have looked a bit on this sub and even the posts where people are devastated have a concentration (count) far above mine. Do these numbers make sense? Are we quite honestly fucked? What options do we have? I have an appointment with an urologist next week but we are freaking out.
