I am looking to learn more about how other print businesses handle large-format printing. Particularly when jobs involve banners,Posters, exhibition graphics and other oversized materials.

For those who work with large-format printing regularly, what do you normally look at when deciding whether to outsource a job or produce it in-house?

I am especially interested in things like:

Typical order quantities that make outsourcing worthwhile

File preparation and resolution requirements

Material selection

Finishing options

Turnaround times

How you manage large or unusually size artwork
