Dorm living

I was wondering about the dorms. would a 43" monitor fit at the desk. I'm a programmer and like to see all the code. If worst comes to worst i can make do with a 30 something inch. Also do people bring tv's? is there a place to put it and watch comfortably? My plan was to just bring my mini pc which is good for most things but then i got to thinking should i also bring my desktop for more demanding gaming? I was wondering how people sleep. I'm a hot sleeper and usually sleep in my boxers. is that normal or do like people sleep in pajamas? I am planning to bring a fan and maybe get an air conditioner for the spring/summer. looks like its not needed in the fall.

Computer Science Hardware/Equipmentg

Hi I am a transferring computer science student. I was wondering what equipment I should bring along that could be useful. I am a mini pc enthusiast and have systems covering most of the gamut arm/x86-64/riscv intel/amd/apple covering windows/linux/macos among other toys: raspberry pis and esp32s. Would bringing any of this stuff be useful in terms of computer science studies?

I was also wondering if I should bring a laptop and/or an ipad to classes. Is that something that people do?

Finally, If i do end up housing on campus in dorms. Is it generally safe to keep all that stuff there?
