My calculator just broke.
2 years. Bought a 90s ti ba ii plus for around 30 bucks. A kid shoved me while running and it fell and broke in two. Can I fix it and glue it up and use it in the test, or should I just buy a new one?

I happened to share a talk with a foreign friend from Germany about how there’s so little information as of where to head out for a drive, for foreign residents. Don’t get me wrong, as a local Korean, we also suffer from the same lack of information. You basically have to build your own list of places to visit for future references.
So I thought, why not share some places with others? I’ll be posting some more in the time being. But first, I’ll be starting with this specific location.
(Gomo Reservoir)
If you live in Seoul, heading here at around midnight would take you roughly 40 minutes. The whole place is a park beside a huge reservoir, and there are plenty of local as well as global food restaurants nearby. There’s not a lot of people, which is one of the main reasons that I head out here time to time. On the bottom left of the lake, there is a small parking lot where you can park for free; just park your car there and go for a walk around the lake. The subtle lightings and the cool lake breeze is definitely a chill experience.
If you’re done walking, there is a mountain fortress right in front of the parking lot that’s currently in maintenance. You can drive along the fortress in a curvy downhill road, which would eventually lead you to the highway which would take you back home.
Overall, I give this place a rating of 3.8/5.
Solid place, lots of stuff to eat, and quite chill in the nighttime. But the roads do need some maintenance. There are quite a lot of potholes.
Also, if you’re still using google maps, try using Naver/Kakao. The interface might be different, but there is simply so much more information in these platforms. Same goes to driving. They tell you better routes and shortcuts if you might need one.
