The Fear Factor

Does anyone else miss the Hunters in the Dark Zone? I came running to see and fight them in the Dark Zone when the game launched, only to not find them in any place.

Do you think they are going to be added later in the game or not at all? Leave more suggestions below!

A new start?

I have been having quite the frustrating experience with my Red pure builds, not dealing the expected damage output even in short bursts(skill all active and similar). And I'm willing to start from scratch/zero completely again. I like to give preferences to simple builds (Weapon only focus), but I don't know where to start. Any suggestions?

My current loadout:

I'm running "Tactical Pistolero" lv.50 (no talent upgrade) and "Hunting Season" lv.50 (2 talent upgrade) —> mainly because of the Critical Hit Chance of 21.??%.

My weapon talents are basically useless, but I have been using a UMP (POLICE) and a Classic FAL.

Gear talents: Chestplate running "Crossfire 1" basic but useful. Backpack running "Inspiration 2" <— Rate of fire increases 42% when any ability is deployed (extremely useful for slower MGs)

(All gears running only red on maximum lv.20)

Gear set: Fury strike (4/4) for now, aiming for either "mechanical enemy" with "Glass Cannon 2" or "Phanlax Attack" with the same talent.

Skill mods are literally nothing useful, I have been trying to synchronize, but I'm lacking parts and the only ones I have are "Tactical insight(3/3)", "Commando(3/3)" and "Top off (2/3)” in Vanguard and "Offensive defense" in Field Medic.

What am I doing wrong?

Normally I do solo, but even in a team, I feel like the weakest link. Used to run Vanguard, but the pace felt too slow –mainly against bosses–, used to run supressive fire, but swapped to this cowboy one after several weekly bounties bosses. The most useful guns to me are light machine guns and sniper rifles (when I don't run two MGs at the same time against bosses).

I have been playing this game since release and... my experience after reaching level 40 have been frustrating to say the least, I don't do damage, I have been seeking to make a "Glass Cannon" built, but I wasn't even able to barely reach the damage output I have been expecting. Ubisoft decided to separate the weapon damages in what? 3 - 4 parts? Proficiency, tactical augmentation, power tier enhancement and weapon mods? What is this? LEGO?

I want to play the game in the most pure and simple way, I know this is a looter shooter, I know the past games, but I want to just do damage, raw, high and quick. So, any recommendations?

My weapon talents are basically useless, my Negev is running "Shooting Repair" and "Damage Trade" while my .308 (sniper) is running relatively good with "Death by numbers 2" and "Steady Reload" <— this one is monstrously good.
