Visit Japan Web: correct use of QR code?
VJW used to provide two QR codes: one for immigration, and a second for customs. Now you only get one QR code, apparently usable for both. But do I actually need to scan the code in both places? Instructions aren't clear, and the kiosk in the Haneda customs area said "this code has already been processed.". But if I don't need to scan my QR code in the customs area, then why do those kiosks exist?
