M94 in Cvn, 6 hours
This is M94, the Croc’s Eye Galaxy, shot from my backyard with an S50 over the past two nights. About six hours worth of 20s exposures, processed in Siril with a slight black point edit in Apple Photos. If you want to see the max potential of this, check out Zcom and some others that processed this off 140 hours of data from the Seestar Collective. The difficulty in processing this target is trying to keep some semblance of the outer halo while keeping the background controlled. Realistically I probably need twice the data to get there. Thanks for looking!
