Tires :(
Has anyone else had issues with the Pirelli Scorpion MS tires on the 2024 Santa Fe Limited?
I live in New England and the roads in some of the towns I drive through for work are absolutely terrible. I do my best to avoid potholes and rough patches, but it’s impossible to miss everything.
The first week I had the car, I got a bubble in one of the tires — $500 gone immediately. Now I just hit what honestly seemed like a pretty minor pothole and ended up with a blowout. While changing the tire, I noticed another bubble forming on the rear tire too.
At this point I’m starting to wonder if these Pirellis just can’t handle rough roads or if other Santa Fe owners are having the same experience. I really like the vehicle itself and would hate to get rid of it over tire issues.
Has anyone switched to a different tire that’s held up better? Michelin? Continental? Something else? Any advice would be appreciated.
