Which of these MA Musical Theatre schools in the UK should I prioritise? And advice on audition tapes too please.
Dear Re(a)ders,
I am 28 years old, I am from India, and I am applying for the Chevening Scholarship to pursue MA Musical Theatre in the UK. I have been professionally trained in dance and am currently taking vocal training. I am applying for programs which include a dance component in the audition-tape process, to play with my strengths. I am finishing my Ph.D in English literature and am deeply passionate about writing; training in Musical Theatre would help me integrate my interests. I can only apply to three the following programs:
- GSA 2. LAMDA 3. Royal Academy of Music 4. Goldsmiths, University of London 5. Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Which programs should I prioritise based on my chances of being accepted and the quality of the program?
I have found the already available comments about Musical Theatre on Reddit really helpful, thank you for creating this space.
