"Our systems are thinking..." very frequent warnings

Being bombarded with these messages

I say 2 out of 3 replies if not more are this

I just wait patiently and then it spews out all at once (thinking and reply) causing some lag sometimes forcing a refresh/new tab

I accidentally triggered cyber abuse a few times and was notified now I will get checked

Mind you my coding knowledge is subpar and I am not trying to hack anything

I was working on an extension for ChatGPT (to track message counter and timing since it's not available by default):

So yeah it was giving me prompts to run which then got flagged lol I did say then please no hacking related incline but I think it overdone accidentally and got me false flagged

Just curious if someone had something similar happen and did it eventually resolve?

I still get the work done but worried 1 of throttling and slower results which could be done in less time otherwise losing time 2 getting worse quality as a result

Cheers! :)

Sol Medium vs High as default

I understand that there are a lot of professional users here but for the more casual folks especially on x5/Plus

Obligatory "is it me or" do you guys find Medium being better as a default

It seems it answers much faster, overthinks/hallucinates/overengineers/bloats much less and even if it does not do the job first time I like to believe 2 Medium goes beat 1 High

I understand it depends on complexity but talking about light-average difficulty projects

Currently I am trialing a system where it stays on Medium and if it fails for a bit then it suggests to spawn a High to analyze the issue

So like in the long term I get faster and possibly better or at least not worse result in less time

GPT-5.5 Mini Rerouting Solution

For the last few days more and more users are reporting blacklisting behavior where paid users are getting rerouted to a dumb model in chats

I am not entirely sure on the cause I can only guess for example a few days ago there was talk about something api to sub abuse

My guess there is crack down on bad actors and a lot of innocent folks are accidentally getting affected

Could be account sharing or regional pricing abuse or free trials I can only guess

What worked for me is getting a new ip (had to call my provider and keep my phone off for some time)

You need a good ip not a free vpn not even a paid vpn which gives multiple users same ip

Then you need some kind of a new hardware/software identity ie no cookies browser fingerprint etc

Brave browser is a good solution

You will need a new account and card

Obviously use your real name and address as you don't want to get blacklisted for fake details

Hope that helps

Anyone with GPT-5.5 Mini rerouting got it eventually fixed/resolved?

Going on for almost 3 days here. Tried all fixes already. Only thinking of getting a new mobile sim card for a fresh ip and making a new account
