Attribution when users jump from web to app. How are you going about it?

Our biggest attribution mess right now is web-to-app. User clicks paid search on desktop, reads landing page, later opens email on mobile, installs app, then purchases two days later. Every platform wants credit but none tell the full story.

We've got UTM data, MMP data, CRM events, and payment data, but tying it together without double-counting is ugly. Especially struggling with users who research on web but convert in-app.

Website owners with apps, how are you handling this process?
