Can we actually stop with the "death threats" bs
As everyone on the internet, I should give my own very important opinion, but actually I'm just so tired of this.
I truly think we should stop bringing up death threats whenever Dani is slightly mentioned, and there are a few reasons.
3vil aka Dani's best friend, co-owner of his Discord server, said that "death threats" were never the main reason Dani left, as you can see in the screenshots. Now, I know many people don't "trust" 3vil because he made false predictions about release date. I think if none of this was true, Dani could've made a statement actually explaining the situation and correcting 3vil, yet that didn't happen.
The Karpman drama triangle of this community should be studied, that's insane. You made Dani this helpless little victim while the community plays both the persecuter and rescuer. You are both the worst people on earth because someone, somewhere made a death threat and now you STILL have this collective guilt from the actions of some random kids made 4 YEARS ago, and you are the dashing hero, who needs to protect the poor opressed helpless Dani from the evil people, yet you are literally fighting windmills. Now, after Dani's disappearance I haven't been really following the fandom much, yet as Daily KARLSON News host I started doing so 200 days ago. You know, how I learned about death threats? YOU KEEP BRINGING THEM UP EVERYTIME YOU CAN. I truly don't know what you're trying to achieve. Imagine the video comes out and most of the comments are something along the lines of "Oh, I hope no one sends DEATH THREATS anymore, glad you are back". If death threats were mentioned everytime someone talks about me and how poor me got "cyberbullied" from the internet because of them, stuff like this would make me consider ending it all istg.
Also it's interesting, how in the video where he mentions death threats you disregard the high pressure, a lot of expectations, signs of burnout to the point that Dani couldn't work on the project and instead decide to cling to the "death threats" which at this point have become a buzzword. Now, don't get me wrong, death threats ARE HORRIBLE, and you absolutely should call out people, who have the audacity to think that sending them is appropriate. Yet again, it was 4 YEARS AGO. Have you considered, that maybe Dani has this thing called "life" outside the internet? That maybe he moved on? Maybe, as rude as it sounds, you are not THE MOST IMPORTANT thing in his life?
Now, a small side note on the reaction whenever Dani comments. I don't report on stuff like that, following the logic that Dani's alive and well by default (needless to say I hope this stays that way for a loooong time) so Dani being alive is no news. But I can't really blame people who share his comments, because after 4 years of nothing, fans would naturally crave for any sort of interaction.
Of course, all of this is my interpretation, I may be wrong and you may disagree.
TL;DR I think we should stop mentioning death threats in the context of Dani everytime because it benefits no one.
