Where my circus freaks at?

Wondering if we have anyone here, or any groups, that meet up and spin/ practice circus skills.

I haven't practiced my skills in probably a decade but I'm wanting to get back into it. I always found i picked up skills better from other people.

By circus skills I mean juggling, hoops, devil sticks, Diablo, poi (I realise these are a Maori skill and don't mean to be reductive), fans etc.

I do also have experience with fire but would be surprised to find fire spinners here during fire season!

Show me your ants on a melon

I just ordered my first whip. I got the ants on a melon 200 end glow.

I have a history with lots of circus skills- poi, staff, devil sticks, hoop, fire spinning, fire eating, fire breathing etc. I retired in my mid 20s after a fire breathing mishap.

I came out of retirement once for a friend's memorial and that has been it. I'm late 30s now and have been feeling the itch to get back in to it.

I recently picked up new poi but I'm so out of practice I'm going to be relearning a lot. And I just wanted something that was easier to flow with. I've had my eye on a flow rope for ages but it's out of stock. Then whips crossed my feed a few times and caught my interest. Soooo did some research, settled on the ants one. But whip doesn't seem to be nearly as popular as other flow toys, so I'm looking for conversation, flow videos, tips and tricks etc to stave off the urge to sit and wait for the mail person!

How did you get into whip?

Was it intuitive or a learning curve?

What other flow or circus skills do you have?

Im particularly interested in videos of the AOAM whips!
