I'm still in the early stages of learning to draw. The draw cubes, shading and still life has been so difficult for me.

I'm trying to draw some of these animals that I see on this site. This wolfdog picture makes him look like a cartoon character. Braking down the features into shapes this is what I got so far and I don't know where to go from here. I see a trapezoid head and triangle ears, eyes and nose.

I'm not sure if this is even a decent outline - let alone what I should do next. I'm not trying to be super detailed just a sketch/cartoon.

How should I go about making this image?
