My dog gets aggressive around Muslims
Please hear me out before you guys rip me to shreds.
I know the title sounds incredibly strange, but it’s true.
I live in an area where there are not very many Muslims.
My dog is the sweetest little baby that you will ever meet. She’s so kind to everyone. She wants to say hi to everyone greet them lick them play with them. She’s so careful with the elderly and babies…
But whenever we meet a Muslim, she growls at them and tries to attack them and chase them.
I don’t know if it’s the clothing they wear or a certain smell (like from cooking or perfume?).
I was out walking with her just now, and there was a really nice lady wearing a hijab, and my dog immediately growled at her and suddenly started chasing her when the lady tried to run away, and the lady ended up, injuring her leg and I am mortified.
She was really nice and didn’t make a big deal out of it, but my dog just wouldn’t calm down and just kept trying to attack her and I’ve never seen my dog react like this with anybody else except people of the same faith.
This is incredibly embarrassing, and I don’t know what to do and I want to know if anyone else’s experienced it and what they did?
