First crash after 6 years riding
I knew it would happen one day, I just tried to be as prepared for it as possible. Sadly I didn't have much time to react properly or jump off the scooter, as in the middle of a roundabout, the connecting beam of my KuKirin G2 Max just snapped clean off, sending me to the ground. I'm glad I was wearing a helmet, otherwise I would have smashed the back of my head pretty damn hard on the road. Unfortunately though, I did end up with two broken ribs and a broken elbow.
I don't know how this happened but I imagine the structural integrity of it has just been worn down by potholes and bumps over the last couple of years.

It should be an easy repair, but I'm gonna keep a much closer eye on the state of my scooter from here on. I do a monthly check over tires, screws, bolts, etc, but I wouldn't have expected to have to check this.
