Context with presidential elections: Washoe has voted blue since 2008 (though some just barely).

Did some digging to find numbers for past few years or so, for context. Source linked here. Numbers rounded up.

Nov. 19, 2025, praise be

I don’t think this is talked about enough: that it wasn’t until nine days before Heated Rivalry aired that those in the States had a place to (legally) watch the show on HBO.

I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off up until then, looking for ways to watch it come Nov. 28 come hell or high water.

Canada deserves every good thing, and frankly, lol, I treated HR streaming only there as penance for living in the U.S., but man oh man was that a life-changing streaming rights acquisition.

The flag man cometh

I see this guy allll the time turning north onto McCarran from Mayberry (west Reno) with his flag. First pic is today, second pic back in April. His left arm/shoulder has to be jacked, right?

Anyone know his purpose beyond testing wind resistance and his huge (“yuge”) love for the U.S.?
