Any reblockers here?
Hi all,
Looking at a property in inner west melbourne - did a building and pest inspection and it came back as requiring restumping.
You can see in the photos that a number of the concrete stumps have been chocked, all posts are missing ant caps and you can also see that in a couple of cases are no longer making constant with the stumps.
My partner and I both work in commercial construction, but don’t have a lot of experience in the resi world. Are we looking at a full replacement of all of stumps, or can the existing be repositioned and reused?
We’re both comfortable managing a relatively extensive reno ourselves but want to understand how much we reduce our offer by?
The cavity isn’t huge either which I would imagine would impact cost (due to access) and we will likely be up for floor / wall reinstatement costs.
The house itself in approx 180m2.
