can't stand my new roommate

He's very much the stereotype of stomp-clap "Hey, Ho!" Millennial white guy. Our shared bathroom is now covered in all kinds of bottles of beard oil and pomade or whatever bullshit but he still only uses 3in1 bodywash & shampoo. Won't stop chain-smoking outside the front door of our house. Last night he played a sad song on the harmonica in his bedroom at 10pm. Within the hour that I met him he spent most of it venting to me; a total stranger, about his divorce and how much his life is a mess. What the fuck, is this a bit?

I thought this type of person was mostly a parody and not actually real. You cannot convince me this man has any interiority. Do millennial normies decide to become the most annoying people on the planet or is it natural to them? Any insights would be nice.

how to play against Mega Greninja decks?

A person at my locals has always been running it and stomping 3-0 almost every weekend. Any deck recommendations or tech cards to run against it? I've been mostly playing beedrill & I've gotten close but their starts are so strong.

They run it with dunsparce draw engine, grand tree, & a copy of mega froslass as well

I work in an open floor plan office & it's making me sick all the damn time

I really need to find another job & quit because it's driving me nuts. I am a very hygienic person at work who probably washes their hands about over 5 times a work shift. I clean my desk & sanitize my mouse and keyboard daily. Ive made an effort to eat better & exercise every day I can just to try and strengthen my immune system...

But every other week I'm still getting sick. Some of the other people at work are disgusting. Some men don't wash their hands after taking a shit, people just show up to work if their sick anyways because they don't wanna use the PTO, I've even seen one team lead pick a booger & eat it. It doesn't help that we're all 5 feet away max from coworkers all the time. If one person gets sick, the whole department gets sick. And I work with the most unsanitary bug people in the universe.

I can't believe I'm begging to work in a damn cubicle at least.

Getting others to actually commit & show up to plans feels like pulling teeth

Idk if I just have flakey friends or maybe people just perceive me as a loser & don't wanna hang out, but it's so frustrating. Everyone else around me makes maintaining & building friendships or getting dates look so easy. I'm always showing up for others but whenever I try to plan something no matter how big or small the activity is, everyone flakes or ghosts or makes excuses to why they can't go. Sometimes I give the benefit of the doubt and understand that other life things come up, but a lot of the time I wish people would just say no they don't want to hang & tell me if they actually hate my company or not.

What don't I understand that everyone else seems to just get intuitively? How do I find out what's wrong with me that everyone is so indifferent towards me? Or am I just stuck to the bottom rung of the social ladder forever.

Guy whose more autistic than me at work is constantly interrupting conversations & it's driving me nuts

I finally get why everyone kinda found me annoying my entire life. It's okay to include yourself in the conversation & I'm not a stickler for social norms, but holy shit this guy is constantly dumping facts about himself and then just not following up or showing any curiosity or reaction to what's already being discussed. I think it makes sense why normies think spergs lack empathy.

This is that trope where a mildly autistic guy encounters an even more mildly autistic guy and hates their guts. It's like I'm looking into a mirror and it makes me feel sick that this may be how others perceive me.

just be yourself!

Makes sense until you actually go out into the world. Nearly everyone I know that's socially successful will shape-shift with whoever they're talking to and I'm always unsure what "themselves" actually is. Guys faking their whole personality to get a crumb of pussy is a tale as old as time. I've met plenty of people one on one who I thought would make a great friend and then when we are both in a larger group they hardly act like the same person I was talking to 2 hours ago. Code-switching and mirroring people you like are both natural things for humans to do.

The internet should stop giving empty platitudes to the autists and socially stunted as legitimate advice. If they don't build specific skills and personality traits they will likely remain at the bottom of the social caste and continue to fail.
