






What should i do in this situation?
Aoa. I recently purchased a new ASUS TUF GAMING VG259QM5A monitor from ZahComputers. I ordered it on 5 May, 2026 and it arrived on 8 May, 2026. After setting up the monitor i did a dead pixel test on it which revealed an unusual white amount of white light at the top but while look at that i also noticed that it has been physically damaged as well. I am no expert in monitors so i immediately contacted ZahComputers WhatsApp where i had originally placed the order where they said it was normal.
The damage:
1: Backlight bleed - there is white light in the top middle.
2: Physical damage - a bit to the right of the monitor u can see there is a seperation between the bezel and screen while as the rest of the bezel is attached to the screen. The separation is so much there is a little white light u can see through it which is visible In photo no.7
Looking at their response it didn’t satisfy me as i am a student and almost entirely saved the 48,500 pkr i spent on this monitor. I didn’t want to take any chances so i posted it here (my previous post) where most people said it was not normal. After 2 days of seeing the response on reddit i contacted them again on but this time also provided them with proper videos.
After looking at their videos at the video he told me he will talk to his team about and get back to me. 6 days went by and no response. Since it was taking too long i contacted him again asking for updates regarding the matter where he replied that disappearing messages were turned on so he doesn’t have the previous chats so i sent him everything again.
After sending everything again he then asked me to send him a screenshot of the receipt which i did after which he asked for an unboxing video. I told him i have no unboxing vid but i do have a picture of the monitor (with timestamps from WhatsApp showing the exact date and time i got it) where the damage is still visible when u look closely.
After looking at that he just sent me another number saying this is the number of my senior and discuss this with him. After all that back and forth i was kinda bummed out but i had no choice i did what he said. I contacted the new number with all the info, pics and vids. He replied a day later and told me backlight bleeding is normal and it’s not a valid reason for warranty completely ignoring the physical damage part.
I asked him what about the physical damage? And he replied with this. (It was a voice message not a text one like most of our messages but this is what he said)
“Brother iska koi masla nahi hai aur ye damage nahi hai ye asal my baz auqat jab ase hota hai ki panel ki tarf say lighting waghaira jo hai bahar ki tarf ajati hai wo as ka masla nahi hai aur ye barta nahi kabi is say bayfikr hojao likn in case agar koi asa mamla hota hai to barnay wala to wo ma dekhlunga phir koi masla nahi.”
These were his exact words. I am sharing pictures and videos with u guys and tell me what i should do. Is this really normal or not? JazakAllah.
