I’m seeing lots of lashings out at various aspects of the club tonight. All of it justified imo

There is blame to go all around. The recruitment is shite and lazy. The dogma of spending millions of fees / signing on fees and big wages on dross from the lower end of the premier league and English championship is mind boggling and genuinely lights my piss on fire.

I think Cavanagh’s heart and wallet has been in the right place and still is. However I think he’s too involved and emotion reacts to things and I think he needs to take a step back and actually hire someone to run the club properly and oversee an actual strategy of how the club wants to model itself. He’s tried to fancy modern bullshit linked in coach style of Martin and then the trendy German upcoming youthful coach and both did not work. He’s then been railroaded by fans in the stands and the wealthy ones in the Thornton suite into think all our problems will be solved by staunch which has seen us just go for McInnes off the back of a freak season at Hearts where they still blew it.

I didn’t want McInnes. He’s been a manager for 19 years or so and won 1 league cup on penalties with Aberdeen. He has never been famed for having a positive or attractive brand of football that will win games. The 2 jobbers he’s brought in as coaches are not it either.

If McInnes wasn’t a Rangers man we wouldn’t have even considered this appointment. This is like the fifth appointing Owen Coyle or Mark McGhee. An absolute farce esp when we are about to throw stupid money on players but won’t fix it.

There is absolutely no point is me calling for him to go, despite me wanting it to happen. This season is a complete wrote off already. Mathematically aye we can still win the league but we know we won’t.

Since Seville we have spent 70 million on players and are actually worse off than the team who started the 17/18 season under Pedro.
