Feeding Question
My bearded dragon is about 6 months at this point, and so I’m wondering if I should be giving him bugs every other day, based on some other posts I’ve seen. I’ve been trying to get him comfortable with greens so I’ve been making sure he has that during breakfast and dinner (2x a day) and then I give him insects in the morning anywhere from 4-10. This is just what my roommates and I were told from other bearded dragon owners but we wanted some extra clarification just to ensure we’re giving him the best way of life if that makes sense. We used to feed him BSFL, but all the pet stores near me don’t have them in stock so I’ve switched to Dubia Roaches (In August, we will go back to giving him BSFL, we just aren’t in our college town and in our hometowns, they don’t sell them for some reason).As for greens, I give him mustard greens and he really likes those but after awhile of eating them, he starts to get bored, I guess? In the beginning, he would eat the mustard greens up after I’d give them, but now it takes him a couple hours to get around to having a few, so I’m not sure if I should switch it up and if i do, what should I give him? Any advice would be helpful!
