What are some common mistakes in construction site traffic planning?
I have noticed that traffic flow around construction sites can either run really smoothly or become a constant issue depending on how it’s planned early on.
From what I have seen, things like unclear entry/exit points, poor signage placement, and not accounting for peak traffic times can quickly create safety risks and delays. It also seems like coordination between deliveries, machinery movement, and public access is often where problems start.
