New Northern BTS. Need insight

We just got our first BTS yesterday from a breeder at an expo. His name is Ducky and per the breeder, he is a shade under 3 months old. My fiancé and I keep other reptiles but this is our first BTS so we have some questions and concerns based on the first 24-36 hours.

After buying him and driving an hour home and getting him set up in his temporary 40 gallon enclosure, he seemed to be pretty thirsty and started gulping down water from the bowl we put in. About 10 minutes later he threw up what appeared to be his last meal (we did not feed him) which looks like dog food (breeder gave us feeding recommendations of grain free wet dog food). I chalked this up to potential stress and/or drinking too much water too fast. He threw up one more time yesterday but has not thrown up again at all today after the first night. We opted not to feed him for the rest of the day. He did have a couple bites of grain free dog food today. No vomit from what we have seen.

He has moved around here and there throughout the day. At points under his bark hide on the warm side, under his cool side hide and also on top of his basking spot. So he is not inactive from what I can see. My concern, which may be totally normal, is what is shown in the video that I posted. What appears to be big short singular breaths. I am unsure if this is normal. But also the twitching of his back leg toes. His eyes also appear to be red.

The only other thing of note behavior wise was the brief hiss he let out when I gave him a tiny rub on the back earlier. Not aggressive and he didnt try to bite. Just a quick hiss.

The breeder did say he is in shed when we got him.

If anything appears to be off or if anyone has any insight or suggestions into what we are seeing, it would be greatly appreciated. We want to make sure our little dude is properly loved and taken care of.

I have been working as a mental health counselor at my company for a week shy of 5 years now. I atarted in an entry level tech position and worked my way to tech supervisor then to the clinical team to my current role. Today I was scheduled to meet with my clinical supervisor for my weekly supervision and, to my surprise, a member of HR joined us.

I was being told that I was no longer appropriate for my specific role/position at the company. What they said in the meeting was that I no longer embodied what the company wants this position to be at their organization. Understandable concept to me although I dont agree. In the paperwork they presented to me, it outlined the reason as being because of failing to complete a task and communicating effectively with another department. I had recently received my first write up in my 5 years of being there for sending an email on Friday that I was supposed to send on Wednesday.

Here is where my question mainly comes from. They gave me an option. Stay with the company and take an entry level role at 28% less yearly pay with a totally different work schedule, or be terminated from the company in one week. No corrective action plan. No chance to improve my work to resolve the issue.

I feel as though I am being forced into quitting because they know I will most likely not take the lesser position as it was the role I held 5 years ago before working my way up into my current role. There was no offer of severance or discussion of unemployment. I feel very blind sided by this as my company has been presenting as if all is normal. Just this week they put me on schedule for certain things in June and they also took my picture this week for my five year anniversary which they typically post on social media.

This feels like a very calculated move on my company's part to push me out the door and to force my hand in a way where I may not be eligible for unemployment if needed. It feels as though their decision to let me go is financially driven and not because of my actual performance. I am trying my best to leave assumptions out of the equation though.

If there is any additional information about this situation that is helpful to include let me know. Thank you!
