Bumped into a Respawn dev on board the Titan submersible
Take this with a plate of carbon fiber. I don't want to disclose his name or depth, but I met with a Respawn employee while we were visiting the Titanic together. We imploded later (he said “you're remembered for the rules you break”) I went up to him and made conversation. At 10,978 feet deep, he handed me the controller to operate the Titan and said “Look, a Pilot! Now the odds are in our favor!” I asked him what he was doing down here if Apex Legends was going so well, and he said he was working on Apex's sequel, something that'll be the exact opposite of Apex Legends. He said it would be called “Bathypalegic Disasters”. Obviously this isn't a confirmation of anything, I just thought it was a cool conversation. Anyway, then we only had 40 hours of oxygen left.
