Have a 2 year nonsense experience in a tech company, can I still apply for entry level roles in FAANG
So here's what happened.
I kinda fucked up, while in college (passed out in 2025 from a tier 3), I used to be good at math and coding. Then i was given an offer to join a company (Weikfield Mnemonix Infonetworks Pvt. Ltd.) as a developer where my role would be to develop an end to end solution for a trading application that would execute real time trades based on the real time stream of NSE option data using custom made algorithms. This company never paid me in a proper manner, always late. And that too from a savings account of a person, and no PF. I have left this company a while back having completed 2 years of work with them. Now I am stuck with an experience that I think will be of no use.Tried for full stack roles but I am a MERN guy, and there are plenty of roles for Spring but not for mine, and I end up competing with 5 year experience people when I finally get an interview. At this point I feel if I could just go back to being the coder I used to be and improve my DSA skills then I could perhaps land a job in FAANG.
Can I? What am I missing? What path should I take? Please help me out.
