Hello!

The last couple of years I’ve had issues with root maggots devouring my radishes and turnips (hakurei), even when I have been careful not to leave them too long. I tried floating row covers but somehow the larvae snuck in (overwintered maybe?) and I’ve made sure to not plant them in the same part of the garden two years in a row. This year I have them in smaller planter boxes with fresh soil and will try diatomaceous earth too but I was wondering if anyone knew any other tricks for thwarting them? thank you!
