I wanted to buy a PF15ECENT, which has a high-gloss finish, and from what I understand, that finish is thicker and therefore offers more protection. But then I saw a Takamine GD11MCENS that I like more, although it has a “natural satin” finish.

I’ve heard that this might mean a major loss in protection against humidity, especially since I live in a country with high humidity. But how true is that really?
