Trying to help a family member out in terms of next steps.
The individual was approved for Medicaid. They have an active Marketplace plan (that was paid for by another family). I am assuming that they need to cancel the Marketplace plan and pick a managed care program? I understand each state is different, but are there caveats that I may not be aware of? If they don’t pick a managed care plan, do they risk losing MA insurance? They are in IL for reference.
