Don't know how much DNA actually monitors this reddit but I thought I would share my frustrating experience trying and failing to buy some genetics this 420. I was planning on picking at least a few packs during the sale. Unfortunately constant issues with the website prevented me from doing so.
So first I saw the email advertising 35% off of packs leading up to 4/20. Awesome I thought great deal! Well I went to the site, added a few packs, added the code and the cart was only updating 35$ off the total, not 35%. I sent an email through the site and never received a reply. So come Sunday I see an email saying the 35% is still active. I went back to the site to see if the code had been fixed and it had. Great! Unfortunately I had dinner plans and couldn't complete my purchase but I would be back in the evening to finish buying so no problem right? Wrong. I got online around 7pm PST to complete my purchase and even though the code was supposed to still be active I got met with a message in my cart that the code had expired. WTF.
Anyways 4/20 comes and after work I was shopping around. I see I an email saying 50% off all day. Wow an even better deal and it's going to be active all day great! Right? Wrong. I get on the site again this time about 6pm PST. The main banner on the page is advertising 50%. Great! Only problem is after adding the code I get met with the same message that the code has expired. It's 6pm on 4/20 why is the code saying it's expired?
At this point I'm extremely frustrated now having tried and failed 3 times to buy seeds. So Tuesday comes and I see an email late in the afternoon telling me about the last chance 4/20 sale because I "missed" out, even though I tried repeatedly to take advantage of the sale. I see this email about 430pm PST. I immediately go the site, enter the code and guess what? Same freaking message that the code has expired lol.
TLDR: Tried 4 times to buy seeds. Every time there was an issue either with the percentage off or the code not being "active" even though it was advertised as being active when I tried to purchase. I believe the issue is your server is basing time checks on the server time which seems to be at least 8 hours ahead of PST instead of basing the time checks on the users local time. I had really wanted to stock up on some DNA packs with the upcoming seed law change but instead I had to go buy seeds from other banks. Anyways DNA should be aware of the issues on their site not to mention seeing random errors on the page constantly like saying "Unable to add GG4 to your cart" repeatedly even though I was not trying to buy GG4.
