iio Refrigerator Noise
Hi All,
First time homeowner and first attempt at troubleshooting an issue with my own fridge. I have an "iio" brand refrigerator, purchased in 2024. For about the last week, it has been making a loud chugging noise almost constantly. I pulled it out from the wall and vacuumed beneath, but it doesn't look like any other fridge I've ever seen. The coils and fins are not visible.
The bottom is covered by a black plate, which is where I would assume the coils to be, however the plate does not seem removable (Not easily anyway, maybe with some force).
The cooling fans are not visible in either the top (fridge) or bottom (freezer). The fridge has a panel on the back wall, which I tried to pop off and look beneath, but there is nothing. Just the wall. The bottom back panel seems as though it could be removed, but I tried with decent force and it won't budge. I could try harder and probably get it, but I worry about damage.
I noticed that the drip pan was full of dusty, gunky water and tried to clean that out as much as I could, but there isn't a clear way to remove it to fully clean it out.
Any thoughts on what else I can try? Thanks in advance.
