Just as the title says, I got into an accident about 2 weeks ago. The damage was approximately 13,500 and I was rear ended by the other party.

The morning of the accident I had gotten an appraisal for my car and carmax gave me a quote of about 22,600. As I was driving back from my appraisal I got rear ended.

I just got the car back and fixed it and everything, then got another carmax appraisal and it came out as 20,800 which is about $1800 difference…

The issue is I have a 2023 Tesla Model 3 with about 30,000 miles on it.

The car was in an accident October of 2025 as well as 2 accidents in March.

Ironically enough I have the appraisal from the morning of the accident and then after getting it fixed.

What’s the best way going about this. Where would I find cars in similar condition, etc.
