i used to free dive a few years ago and i was young then and my best static apnea was 3:15
im a teen now and am 132 pounds and 5'7. im pretty athletic and have a genetically low heart rate of 52.
i had very good technique when i was young but i was small and and didnt have great lung size. recently ive gotten back into freediving and im starting tables again and so i tested my max dry static apnea and i got 5:30!!!
like how is this possible. i did tidal breathing, no hyperventilating. Normal everything
im honestly worried becasue i didnt do proper recovery breaths and i was cold and dizzy. but im also stocked because thats just crazy.
anyone got any ideas on how this happened?
