Hey, I’m taking my daughter who will be 15 at the time to the London concert. We have sorted her outfit and she’s happy, her favourite song is grudges and she is wearing a cream skirt with a brown lace top with something for modesty underneath, I am Catholic and modesty is a must for me, now she turned her attention to what I’m wearing. I was going in jeans and a t-shirt as Melanie isn’t my style of music but can appreciate her artistry, but she’s told me I need to match her. As parents what is everyone else wearing? I don’t want to stick out like a sore thumb in something that looks like a costume, I’m a blend into the background kinda person. Any other parents taking their children that can point me in the right direction? Trying to give my daughter what she wants while also feeling comfortable as it’s her special birthday present, happy to put myself out a little for her too if it makes her happy.
