Need to Upgrade Shoes
Hello favorite subreddit community. I need to upgrade my shoes. Currently in the Topo Ultraventure - love them and happy to keep buying them. However, I’m dealing with mild plantar fasciitis (I see a PT) but I think new shoes are in order, as well (these are past their mileage). I’ve tried Altras, Hokas, La Sportivas - all good shoes, just not for me. Big toe boxes or shoes that come in wide would be perfect, too. I need a long hauler shoe (100+ miler races) that gives support and a natural feel. I’m so tempted to dip my toe into other shoes I typically see at start lines - Mount to Coast, ASICS, Norda, Nnormal, Addidas, Salomon, Nike. What have yall been loving? Any tried and true shoes out there for you?
