Hi everyone, pls don’t judge.
Basically. I was scheduled for an I-130/i-485 interview last april 2025. Unfortunately, my husband did something stupid and went to jail/ program to get his case expunged and I missed my interview because of this. He was supposed to be released in 2027.
I consulted a lawyer and I applied for VAWA… as a result, I cut all contact with him.

Now he’s telling me that he’ll be released in fall of this year. We are still legally married… I’m desperate.. I’m thinking of getting back with him to fix my relationship and my GC situation.

Has anyone ever withdrawn a VAWA and gotten back with their partner? What would the USCIS think?

Please help and don’t judge. I feel so hopeless… my VAWA would take 4 years… help!
