i had my first pill of the pack 9 hours late then normal time (it’s a combo pill) and had unprotected sex on day 6. he didn’t finish inside of me and i think there was just pre cum. since it was the first pill of the pack do i go buy plan b to be safe?
Hey y’all. I’m currently on the combo pill Loryna and had a quick question because I’m stressing a little. My placebo pills just ended, and today was the first day of my new pack. I usually take my pill at 4:00 PM, but with moving back home from college I completely forgot and didn’t take it until 1:30 AM, so about 9 hours late. I’m normally super consistent with both taking it daily and timing-wise.
Although I’m still bleeding from my placebo week, I’m worried about taking the pill late because it was the first pill of a new pack. Does taking it 9 hours late put me at risk for pregnancy, or am I still protected? I’m seeing my boyfriend in 3 days and keep seeing mixed answers online, so I’d really appreciate any help.
