Studying and Working in Iceland
Hi everyone! I am getting married and will be moving to Iceland with my husband. He is not Icelandic, but he lives and works there and has a very stable, well-paying job.
I am thinking about what my life would look like there. I have a Bachelor's degree in Economics and two years of work experience in economic development research (academia). I have solid technical and qualitative skills.
I want to pursue a Master's degree in Iceland, but I can only find a few programs taught in English. If I want to stay in academia and do TA, would a Global Studies Master's be a good fit — even if I also want the degree to open doors in the job market? I lean more toward statistics and data analysis, but unfortunately all the relevant programs seem to be taught in Icelandic. 😕
Any advice would be appreciated!
