I’ve been researching contemporary Indian/Indo-Western fashion lately and honestly feel like there’s still a gap between:
- heavily ethnic/traditional wear and
- very western fast-fashion clothing
A lot of brands either feel:
- too occasion-heavy
- too trendy
- difficult to style regularly
- or aesthetically repetitive
I’m curious:
What do you genuinely feel is missing from women’s fashion brands in India right now?
Especially in terms of:
- silhouettes
- fabrics
- wearability
- quality
- pricing
- styling versatility
- contemporary Indian fashion
Would genuinely love honest opinions because I feel like a lot of people are craving clothing that feels unique and elevated while still being practical to wear day-to-day.
