Looking for some encouragement/advice. I’m married to my southern Baptist/non-demon husband of 6 years. Our marriage was valid in the Catholic Church. We have 3 small children, all who have been baptized in the Catholic Church. Recently my in laws (hard core SB) have been taking my two oldest (4 and 3 yrs) to their Wednesday church. I do not like it and don’t want them to go. I don’t have any support, my husband wants them to go, but he doesn’t even go. He’s basically Christian by name alone. I’m worried that they’ll teach them doctrine I don’t agree with. Plus it’s just wild to me that they only take them to drop them off in a nursery and then go to their adult class. It makes me feel disrespected and that they’re trying to raise them SB, which is not their place. I guess I’m also kinda venting. My husband is stubborn and very prideful, won’t even try to understand the Catholic faith. I have been praying for him daily, offering up rosaries, novenas, and masses for him. I just feel so defeated and would appreciate any advice or encouragement.
