I am relocating for a job, and I want an apartment that has paystubs as a required document to apply. The problem is that I have been working part time for a few months at my parents while job hunting and my income was very low and inconsistent. I have enough cash for 6 months of rent and my salary with my new job is more than adequate but of course I can't get paid before moving there. They have no other options in the application for proving employment so the only option seems to be to contact the apartment and try to explain my case, but I'm a first time renter and don't really know how these things go.
